Wax Worms

Wax Worms – A Soft, Irresistible Treat

Wax worms are a high-fat, soft-bodied treat that almost every insectivore goes crazy for. Perfect for tempting picky eaters, and best fed in moderation since they're rich and low in other nutrients.

Size: approximately 1/2" to 3/4".

Keeping them fresh: Store somewhere cool, around 10 to 15°C, such as a cool cupboard, basement, or cellar, to slow them down and extend their life. Avoid the main body of a standard fridge, which runs colder than 10°C and can chill them. Keep the wood shavings they're packed in dry and wipe away any condensation from the inside of the lid, since damp is their enemy. Let them warm to room temperature before feeding.
