Silkworms – Soft, Hydrating, and Gentle on Reptiles

Silkworms are a soft-bodied, easily digestible feeder that most reptiles love, prized for being low in fat and high in moisture. A gentle, healthy addition to the diet, great for bearded dragons, leopard geckos, chameleons, and anoles. They're moderate in protein and low in calcium, so dust with a calcium supplement rather than relying on them for it.

Size: approximately 1" to 2".

Keeping them fresh: Keep at room temperature (never refrigerated, cold harms them). Silkworms eat only mulberry leaves or silkworm food. Only a small amount of food comes in the cup, so feed them off within 24 to 48 hours of arrival, or add our pre-made silkworm food to keep them going. Change the food every 1 to 2 days to keep it fresh and prevent mould.
