Giant Mealworms

Giant Mealworms – Live, Fresh, and Ready to Feed

Our live mealworms are a protein-rich, convenient feeder for reptiles, amphibians and other insectivorous exotic pets. Best offered as part of a varied diet and dusted with a calcium supplement, since mealworms are naturally low in calcium. Giants are our largest mealworm and higher in fat, so treat them as more of a high-energy snack than an everyday staple.

Size: approximately 1.25" in length. Prefer a smaller feeder? Try our Medium Mealworms or Large Mealworms.

Keeping them fresh: Store in a ventilated container with a little wheat bran or rolled oats as bedding. Keep them in the fridge (around 7 to 10°C) to slow them down and extend their life for a few weeks. Add a slice of carrot or sweet potato for moisture and change it every 1 to 2 days to prevent mould. Remove any that have passed, and let them warm to room temperature before feeding.

Live arrival: We pack for safe transit and stand behind live arrival. See our delivery and refund pages for details.
